My personal details have changed. What should I do?

The appropriate forms can be downloaded at www.shareview.co.uk, or can be obtained by contacting Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018). You will need to send the completed form to Lloyds TSB Registrars along with the appropriate documentation.

I have lost my Savills share certificate(s). How can I get a replacement?

The request for a replacement share certificate should be referred to: Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018) (calls to this number are charged at 8p per minute from a BT landline; other telephone providers’ costs may vary) or +44 121 415 7047 if calling from aboard). There will, however, be an administration fee payable to Equiniti for this service, and there may also be an indemnity charge for replacing share certificates. The amount of the indemnity varies, and is based on the market value of the shares at the time of replacement.

I want to transfer my shares to another person. How do I go about this?

You will need to complete a Stock Transfer form and send it along with your share certificate(s) to Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018). To download a copy of a Stock Transfer form, go to the Helpful Information for Shareholders section at www.shareview.co.uk.

Stamp duty may be payable depending on the type of transfer. As a general rule, if no money is changing hands then the transaction is not liable for Stamp Duty.

A Savills shareholder has died. What should I do about their shareholding?

Please contact: Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018). You will normally have to produce a sealed copy of a Grant of Probate (Confirmation in Scotland) or Letters of Administration to the Registrar. However, if the total value of the estate is less than £5,000 then, in certain circumstances, a special small estates procedure may be adopted.

To avoid confusion around this time, prices are sometimes quoted 'cum dividend' (meaning 'with dividend') which means that the buyer will be entitled to the next dividend payment and the share price has not been adjusted.

I have not received my last dividend cheque. What should I do?

Please contact: Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018).

Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank account?

Yes, this is possible with most bank or building society accounts in the UK and is sometimes referred to as a 'payment instruction' or 'dividend mandate'. You will need to submit a form to the Registrars, which can be completed online at www.shareview.co.uk, or can be obtained from Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA (tel. 0871 384 2018). If you register for a Shareview portfolio, you can amend your details securely online.

I have found an out-of-date dividend cheque. What should I do?

The out-of-date cheque should be returned to: Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA, with a covering letter asking them to re-issue the cheque.

Can I take my dividends in shares?

At present we do not operate a Dividend Reinvestment Programme (DRIP), however, this policy is reviewed by the Board on a regular basis and we will inform investors if there is any change.
